Corrections & Updates
Last updated: August 18, 2026
Club Diaspora is committed to accuracy. When errors occur, we correct them openly rather than quietly editing the record.
How we handle corrections
- Factual errors (incorrect names, dates, figures, quotes, or attributions) are corrected as soon as they are verified, with a visible correction note added to the article.
- Material updates (new information that changes the substance of a story) are noted with an "Updated" line stating what changed and when.
- Minor edits (typos, formatting, broken links) are fixed without a formal correction note, since they do not affect the substance of the reporting.
How corrections are labeled
Corrected articles include a note at the top or bottom of the piece, for example: "Correction (August 18, 2026): An earlier version of this article misstated [X]. It has been corrected." We do not delete or silently alter published claims of fact without disclosure.
Evergreen guide updates
Explainers and guides that are periodically refreshed carry a "Last updated" date at the top of the article so readers know how current the information is.
